Van der Looij Welfare Foundation Sri Lanka

A foundation that is committed to the underprivileged population in the south of Sri Lanka by supporting local education for children and young adults. Where possible, the Van der Looij Foundation also supports other projects where underprivileged people are sheltered and offered a dignified existence.

At the beginning of 2023 we started the Pap project at the Anikkada school. The students receive a hot (porridge) meal organized by us every day.

At the end of 2022, the school year in Sri Lanka ended with a traditional ceremony and the students who are going to a follow-up school were waved goodbye. The new students were then welcomed to the Van der Looij Nursery School at the beginning of January.
